Chris Vieson 

Chris has a decades-long history of bipartisan action and success in Washington, DC. Having led three, some say four, committees in the U.S. House of Representatives, Chirs has a unique perspective on working towards results. Before starting VM Group with Phil, Chris was the founder and Managing Partner of Zero Mile Strategies, a highly successful consulting firm.

 

While on the hill, Chris served as the Staff Director for the House Committees on Armed Services, Homeland Security, Transportation & Infrastructure, and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Under his leadership, Chirs negotiated four NDAAs, an FAA reauthorization, a WRDA authorization, FEMA reforms, and conducted numerous oversight investigations. He helped drive reforms at the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Transportation, FEMA, Coast Guard, and the IC.

 

Before his committee work, Chris worked for ten years in House Republican leadership, for the Leader, Whip, and Conference offices.

 

Chris also serves as a commissioner on the congressionally-created Commission on the Future of the Navy.
